What we’ll do
Opened in 1899 , the funicular will take you 244 meters high into the mountains. Once arrived at the top, you will be able to enjoy the spectacular view over the waterfalls, as well as see the famous cliff, where the epic fight between the Detective and the Professor took place.
The waterfalls are 250 m high, followed by an upper waterfall of 90 m, right in front of the funicular station, and represent a magnificent scenery. You can also take the funicular for hiking purposes, as the upper station is the starting point for many hiking trails in this valley.
